The storm has arrived!

Michelle, Phil, Fern & Esme arrived safe and sound (if a bit jet lagged) and we have not stopped since. Fern is always 
on the go, if she is not wanting us to read books she is wanting something else to eat! Constant demands for Beeseesix and bilahbies (Weetabix & Bananas) are putting a strain on 
the larder. Esme does all the usual baby things but of course is the best baby in the world.
We have been going out and about doing touristy things so it has been good for Karen and I as well. We stayed overnight at Hanmer Springs which is Hot Water Spa, and we have also had a day trip out to Akaroa amongst others.
Michelle has been taking advantage of the local equivalent of Ebay and I was most surprised to get an email telling me I was the winning bidder on a Breast Pump!! I was more embarrassed when she made me go and pick it up!
As you may know I like sailing, but I was a bit surprised when Karen bought me a fully rigged Three Masted Schooner as an early birthday present. Luckily I won’t have to find a big crew and mooring will not be much of a problem as it is only 3 feet long.
